Greetings! Welcome to The Great Adventure's journal/blog/community/whatever you want to call this little corner of cyberspace. Thanks for dropping by - it means a lot to us, whether you're a regular listener, or if you've just stumbled upon us for the first time.

If you are unsure what The Great Adventure (TGA) is, well, the answer is simple. TGA is a Contemporary Christian Music/Christian Rock show that airs from 7PM to Midnight (Eastern time) on WHFC, 91.1 FM in the Bel Air, Maryland area. TGA started some years ago in the 9PM to Midnight slot, but recently expanded to fill the earlier two hours as well. The current hosts are Jordan Dennis, John Meadows, and myself, Tim Morgan. Other folks drop in from time to time. If you're not in the area, you can listen to the station on the web at www.whfc911.org.

I'd like to give a big THANK YOU to all the listeners who donated to the station in our recent fund-raiser - it means a lot to us. Thanks especially to Barbara (both of you!), and the others who donated during The Great Adventure. Though the donor turnout for TGA was far from massive, it is good to know that people do want to hear Christian music on this station - and realize how fantastic it is that we can have Christian programming at all on a college station. All told, WHFC received over $6300 dollars in donations, which will go a long way towards supplementing our meager budget. Thank you all very much!

We'll try to update this journal at least once per week, keeping you informed of local happenings in the Christian music scene, new album reviews, and other fun stuff. Also, each week's playlist for TGA will be posted here, so you can see what "that" song was.

Thanks very much for dropping by, we hope you'll keep coming back. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to post or comment - we love hearing from you!

See you on the other side of the radio!

God bless,

Tim Morgan
